Elizabeth's Actual Birthday
We know we did her party a few weeks ago, but we had intended
to do the zoo thing today just to celebrate the day.
However, I still wasn't up to the zoo and the kids slept
in this morning, so we ended up not going on such a big adventure.
Instead we made a Target trip and let the kids each pick out a toy.
Since we weren't giving them wrapped and as birthday gifts, Jake got
to get one as well. So this afternoon the kids played with their toys.
Jake got a tow truck and Elizabeth got dress up shoes. They are
Barbie shoes and way too big for her, but she loves them. Then we made
pizza. Jacob said, "It's not delivery, it's Digiorno." Too much TV.
We also bought a very small cake, but it made the kids very happy.
It ended up a very nice day.
Oh, I forgot to mention the bow, shawl, and tutu. One must accessorize.
Like I said, the shoes were much too big but she loves them. Didn't have a bit of trouble with walking in the heals either.
