At some point he realized that his pumpkin was not going to look the same as a carved pumpkin, and started asking his daddy for a knife. Mommy came to the rescue with face stickers. And just so you know, he determined the placement of all the faces. Apparently his pumpkin had multiple personalities. Elizabeth was given stickers too, but she put hers on the table rather than on her pumpkin.
